Using your air scrubber

A HEPA filter that cleans dust, mold spores, odor and bacteria out of the air.

Set it up

  1. Put it in the work area, away from the wall, on a flat spot.
  2. Check the filters are in place: the pre-filter in front, the HEPA filter behind it. Your rental includes a new filter.
  3. Plug it into a grounded outlet and turn it on high.

Two ways to use it

  • Clean the air (most jobs): let it run in the room with the doors closed.
  • Keep dirty air in (mold, sewage, sanding): tape plastic over the doorways to the rest of the house and run a lay-flat duct from the air scrubber's outlet out a window. The room pulls air in from the house instead of pushing dirty air out.

While it runs

  • Run it the whole time you work and at least a day after.
  • Change the pre-filter if it looks gray and clogged.

Returning it

Leave the used filter in the unit; we dispose of it. Wrap the cord and any duct.
